Erin is the owner and sole practitioner for Lake Country Lactation. She is also a Registered Nurse (Labor, Delivery and Postpartum), a Certified Lactation Counselor (CLC) and a Postpartum Caregiver with us at Lake Country Newborns (LCN). She is also a mother of two young boys, with whom she had two different breastfeeding experiences, completely related to the support available. It is her passion to help prepare and guide you and your family through your lactation experience, no matter what your goals may be.
What Does Lactation Counseling Look Like?
Lake Country Lactation offers you flexible scheduling for virtual lactation counselor visits that work with your busy lifestyle. Some of the things we can virtually discuss include, but are not limited to:
- Prenatal visits - everything you need to know to get started on a prepared and positive note
- General questions - great for those newly breastfeeding who have some random questions or concerns to address along the way
- Pumping - for those plan to exclusively pump, or are looking for pumping tips as you prepare to return to work
- Breastfeeding beyond age 1 - benefits, pumping needs, schedule suggestions and more
- Weaning - how to prevent discomfort and clogs, how to help support your child through it, etc.
Virtual Lactation Support & Rates
A virtual lactation counseling session is $60 and includes:
- Health history intake - filled out by client prior to visit time
- One hour virtual visit
- Links to resources as needed
- Two weeks of follow up questions via email
